Storytelling

Today we enjoyed a lovely storytelling workshop.  Our visitor told stories from Africa and the Caribbean.  We joined in with a story from Antigua - How Tortoise got his shell.  It was all about a Tortoise who wanted to fly but couldn't as he didn't have wings.  The story included animals working together in partnership, resilience and self acceptance. 

Year 1 are looking forward to our next storytelling workshop.
