I hope everyone is well and enjoyed the sunshine last week.


Phonics/reading
Read the 'ir' phoneme spotter' postcard below and the find as many 'ir' words as possible.  Then choose 5 words from the postcard and write a sentence for each word.

  • Look at the book cover - What do you think this book will be about?
  • Why did ..... happen?
  • Why was.... feeling...?
  • What was the first thing that happened in the story?
  • What happened at the end of the story?
  • Who is you favourite character and why?

Using the picture below, write 5 sentences using adjectives to describe what is happening.  Please write them in your yellow book.
For example: I can see two young children playing in the golden sand.

Use the dice in your home learning pack from school to play dicey rolls. 

  • Roll the dice, read the number and then add one.  Once you have rolled all the numbers (from 1 - 6) start again but this time take away one.                                 
  • Roll the dice, read the number and then add ten.
