Monday 11th May

Reading 
Choose a book that your child/children will read for the whole week.  Either they will read the same book a few times throughout the week or they can read a little bit each day.  I have attached daily questions to support your child's understanding of the book.

Questions 
  • Look at the front cover.  What could the book be about? 
  • Who is the author?
  • What is an illustrator?  What do they do?

  • How can you read and unfamiliar word?  Can you sound it out them blend it.

Using BBC bitesize find out facts about Neil Armstrong and then tell a family member 3 facts. 


Art
Can you draw some 2D shapes?  You can use a pencil, felt tip pens, crayons, colouring pencils, chalk even paints.  Try and name each of the shapes.
