 Good morning year 1,

I hope you are all well and had a lovely break.  I am sad that we will not be seeing one and other tomorrow as we first thought but it is important for us to stay safe.  

I will be sharing work daily on here as well as making phone calls to check in and see how you are all doing.  I look forward to speaking to you all.

Phonics 

Recap phase 4 tricky words.  Can you write some of these words into sentences?

Reading 

Read the story below and then answer the questions below. 

Literacy 

How was your winter break?  What did you do?  Where did you go?  When did you go? Why did you go? How did you get there?

Write a recount (letter) telling me what you did during the winter break.  Use the above questions to help support your ideas. 

Maths 

Click on the blue link (Fact families - addition facts) and watch the video then complete the work below.  You can just write the answers on a piece of paper.

Think about a book that is special to you.  Talk to someone in your family about it.  

Why is it special to you?  

How long have you had it?  

How do you look after it?
