Good morning my year 1 family,
Phonics/Writing - Epic phonics tricky words Follow the link. Children to watch the video and then put some of the tricky words into sentences. Children to say their sentence, write it and then read it back to check it makes sense. Children must remember capital letters and full stops. Can you challenge yourself? Try to write a sentence using the conjunction 'but' or 'so'.
Reading - Read school books that your have at home. Share books as a family.
Listen to stories online - Oxford owl
Maths - Choose any of the Autumn activities on Mathletics - number within 10, number within 20, Add/subtract within 10 or Shape.
Children can also use TTRS https://ttrockstars.com/
Creative - Draw a shape (a square) on a piece of paper then give it to the children to create an image out of it. The children can draw whatever they like using the square as part of their picture.

I have missed you all. I hope that you have enjoyed the beautiful spring sunshine this weekend and managed to get some fresh air. I hope that you are well and keeping active.
From now on we will be learning together via our blog. Every Monday morning I will be setting the children a series of activities. During this time we recommend having some sort of routine to help keep a familiar structure of the school day - see home learning pack.
