Welcome back Year 1, I hope you all enjoyed the Easter break as best you could. Phonics All children to practice reading each of the sounds for Phase 2 and 3 - use your sound mats I sent home in February. Use the picture to help remind you of the sound and here is a link to Jolly Phonics where you can hear all the different sounds - Hear the sound or listen to the sound in a song Videos of sounds in a song Watch the ai ay a_e video then write down the correct spellings for as many words as you can that match the pictures. Term 4 - Welcome back!

Welcome back everyone! Term 4 has been very busy and we have only been back in school for a few weeks. In year 1 we have been doing lots of learning around our new Topic - The Great Fire of London. We learned about where London is, what it looked like in 1666 compared to now, the jobs people had and life in 1666. During Continued provision some of the children used the building blocks to build houses. We looked at their height and how close together they were.
